INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is the website of Capital Theatres, a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.

Conditions of Sale of Tickets

These terms and conditions apply to all ticket sales through Capital Theatres.  By contacting us and placing an order for tickets, you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions detailed below.

No refunds will be given except in the event of cancellation of a performance, prior to that performance.

If an event is cancelled, the Trust's liability will be to the customer making the original purchase and will be limited to the cost of the tickets purchased.

If an event is cancelled the customer will not be refunded the £2 per ticket TicketPlan insurance.

Handling charges and booking fees are non-refundable.

Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours before a performance to another performance of the same show, subject to a £1 fee per ticket.

To protect everyone from ticket touts, we don’t allow the resale of our tickets for private commercial gain.  Tickets are sold for use by the buyer and their party. We can cancel tickets if there’s any breach of this condition, and refuse entry without refund. For your own peace of mind, please only buy from official outlets – which is directly from us or from one of our approved agents.

Where a resale facility is available through Capital Theatres , resale of these Ticket(s) cannot be guaranteed and is subject to a fee of 10% of the resale value.

We reserve the right to introduce discounts, price changes, artist and performance alterations without prior notification.

Discounts and offers apply to full price tickets only. Only one discount per ticket.

Discounts may be withdrawn at any time.

It is your responsibility to check upon receipt of your tickets, that you have tickets for the correct production, date and time.

You can choose to have tickets posted (standard post) or to collect from the theatre. However, if you book within eight days of a performance, tickets will be held for collection at the theatre.

If your tickets are held for collection from the Box Office you must present the Credit/Debit card used to purchase the tickets (or your booking confirmation email) in order to collect your tickets. Tickets being collected by anyone other than the original booker will only be released on receipt of a letter/email of authorisation (or a confirmation email) from the original booker.  An authorisation letter/email must include the first four and last four numbers of the card used to purchase tickets, the reference number of the booking, details of the performance and the name of the person authorised to collect.  Authorisation letters/emails will be kept by us as proof of purchase.

Most tickets sold through the Capital Theatres Box Offices and Online are not subject to a booking fee. However, this can change for any show, please see individual show listings for details. Festival City Theatres Trust also charges a handling and postage fee of £1 per transaction if tickets are to be posted. To avoid this Print At Home tickets are available for all shows.
