Aged 15-18 and interested in working in theatre?
This course is perfect for young creatives considering their next steps in life.
Over 4 days, we’ll create our own performance pieces, tracking the journey a show goes on from page to stage. Along the way, there’ll be backstage tours, workshops and shadowing opportunities designed to explore new skills and ignite an interest in the amazing jobs this industry has to offer.
Whether you’re someone who loves performing, or whether you’re more interested in the nuts and bolts of how a production comes together, this course offers something for everyone.
How will our days be structured?
Mornings
Learn about a range of different departments through practical hands-on workshops and experiences.
Lunch
Provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own if preferred.
Afternoons
It's time to explore the world of theatre-making! We'll split into two groups, each supported by a professional dramaturg, and work towards devising our own short Studio shows, to be shared with family and friends at the end of the week.
A participant form will be emailed after booking. A full schedule for the course will be shared on the 1st of July.
