Take Part: Find Your Light

Mary Poppins

Sat 8 Feb, The Studio

Inspired by the incredible shows on our stage, our Find Your Light days are perfect for young adults (aged 16-25) looking to expand their love of theatre and explore their creativity in new ways.

Curious about careers in the arts? Keen to try out some new creative skills? Want to engage more with our shows?

Our Find Your Light days are made for young creatives (aged 16-25), giving you the chance to get closer to our shows and learn from the pros. This February, we’re diving into the world of Mary Poppins.

The day kicks off with Coffee With The Creatives (10 – 11am), a laidback coffee morning where you can network with the show’s production team. You’ll meet reps from different departments, get the chance to ask your burning questions and get the inside scoop on life behind the curtain.

After that, there’s an afternoon of hands-on workshops, all inspired by Mary Poppins:

Magic & Performance, with Tim Licata: 12 – 1.30pm

Costume Design, with Janis Hart: 2 – 3.30pm

Dance, with Chris JS Wilson: 4 – 5.30pm

Come to one, some all or all – it's your day to enjoy your way.

The Studio bar will be open throughout, with free cuppas on tap for anyone who wants to drop in across the day. We’ll also have a chatty corner, where Capital Theatres staff will be on-hand to natter all things theatre.

We’re here to help you Find Your Light and see where your creativity can take you!

All workshops can be booked individually through the links below. £3 per session.
