Dance for Musical Theatre
With Chris JS Wilson
Fancy getting put through your paces like a Broadway performer? This workshop, led by Chris JS Wilson, is perfect for dance and musical theatre enthusiasts alike, exploring the styles and techniques that inspired the Tony Award-winning A Chorus Line. This workshop is open to anyone aged 16 - 25, no matter your level of dance experience.
About the artist
Chris is a critically acclaimed choreographer and performer whose work has taken him all over the globe. Through this work, he has worked with all ages, abilities, and cultures with a strong belief that dance is as much to do with style and attitude as it is to do with technique, and therefore believes that anyone can dance if they let go of their inhibitions.
Chris is a champion of the therapeutic effects of dance, and his work has led him to work with vulnerable groups and people living with dementia that received global recognition in 2017. Chris also runs the Musical Madness and Retro Dance Party classes at Dance Base.
