Aged 15-18 and thinking about a career in theatre?
Want to learn about life behind-the-scenes with Scotland’s largest theatre organisation? This course is perfect if you're looking to take the next step in your creative journey.
Over 4 days, we’ll create our own performance pieces and get an inside look at how a production comes together. Expect backstage tours, workshops, and shadowing opportunities that will help you explore new skills and discover the amazing jobs the theatre world has to offer.
Whether you’re into performing or more interested in offstage roles, this course has something for everyone!
Here's how the day's will go...
Mornings: Dive into different departments with hands-on workshops and experiences
Afternoons: We’ll split into two groups, each working with a professional artist to create our own short shows. You'll get to choose your role, whether it’s performing, lighting, directing, or being a stage manager. At the end of the week, we’ll share what we’ve created with family and friends
After booking, you'll receive a participant form to fill in so we learn more about who’s attending and how we can create the best experience. A full schedule for the course will be shared two weeks before we kick off.
