Bringing a School
We care about keeping theatre accessible to young people, which is why many of our productions offer a special schools rate. For participating shows, school groups of 10+ can get tickets from just £10.00 per learner, with 1 free teacher for every 10 students booked. This rate may be restricted to certain dates and parts of the auditorium. Please note groups cannot be booked online.

Backstage Tours
Enhance your learning with a backstage tour of the Festival Theatre! Each year, we have a small number of dates available for schools tours. These dates are determined by our busy stage schedule and tend to book out quickly, so we recommend getting in there early in the school year, by emailing engage@capitaltheatres.com.
Please note:
- We recommend tours to Primary 6 and upwards
- Tours are free to non-fee paying schools
- Tours last approximately 1 hr, but we recommend leaving 15 mins leeway at the end
- We can accommodate one class per tour, but capacity may vary depending on the needs of the group.
- All schools will be asked to comply with our health & safety policies
- Tours can often be adapted to suit the learning interests of the group, so if there's a particular topic you'd love us to cover, let us know!
