How To Talk To A Techie
Don’t know your gobos from your gaffer tape? We get it. Join us for this session with our Studio Technician, Cormac Ó Callanáin. He’ll show you how different effects can be achieved, the equipment you might come across in a studio theatre, and how to describe what you’re looking for so a technician can make it happen.
Cormac Ó Callanáin has been the Studio Technician at Capital Theatres for the last two years, overseeing the technical requirements for every production, residency and scratch performance we have hosted in the space since September 2022. He has been a member of the wider Capital Theatres technical team for the last 12 years.
